Captain Rodfrey is arguably the most famous captain in the Ships of the Northern Fleet universe. Long before the events of the books (and television series), it is said that Captain Rodfrey was the only living creature to ever collect The 7 pieces of Starboard and after doing so, gathered them in a hidden cave. Due to the nature of reuniting the seven pieces, this was where Rodfrey met his end.
